New Zealand–manufactured ultra-high strength precision tube specifically for motorsport safety cages made using dual-phase DP780 steel.
Manufactured to specification AS/NZS 1450. Requires no preheat or post-weld heat treatment and can be welded using standard TIG and MIG processes with commonly used filler metals. Each tube length is line-marked for full traceability (batch, grade, and specification), with mill test certificates supplied with every order.
Typical properties: yield strength 690 MPa, tensile strength 850 MPa, elongation 17% (on Lo = 50mm), HRB hardness 104.
Standard length is 5.5m (3.6m for the 44.5mm size).
